The salmon hue reveals a combination of flavors bursting with strawberry and raspberry with crisp acidity leading to a refreshing finish. Grenache is believed to have originated in the Aragon region of Spain and was very well established in the wine growing regions throughout Europe by the 19th Century. In addition to being widely grown in Europe, Grenache was one of the first varietals grown in Australian. In fact, the country claims some of the oldest Grenache vines in the world.
