Discover the dynamic flavors of Superdelic Hop Pellets, a new variety from NZ Hops. Bursting with tropical notes, citrusy undertones, and a touch of candy, this versatile hop can be used on its own or in combination with other hops. It pairs well with popular varieties like Nelson Sauvin™, Motueka™, and Riwaka™, making it ideal for hazy IPAs and other hop-forward styles. Plus, its biotransformation properties add depth and complexity when added during active fermentation.
Superdelic™ (Trial Hop NZH-102) is a triploid hop variety created in 2012 through NZ Hops’s partnership breeding program with Plant and Food Research by Dr. Ron Beatson. It was selected for its excellent performance in small plot trials and promising sensory qualities in initial brewing tests, and subsequently advanced to the NZ Hops trial hop farm in 2017.
