Mosaic Cryo Hops® LupuLN2® Pellets 1 oz.

Mosaic Cryo Hops

Mosaic Cryo Hops® pack an extraordinary range of aroma and flavor into a concentrated lupulin pellet. Bred from Simcoe® and Nugget by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012, Mosaic has quickly become a staple in modern brewing. Known for its layered complexity, Mosaic delivers everything from citrus and pine to tropical fruit, berries, florals, and even hints of bubble gum—all intensified in Cryo Hops® form for maximum impact with less plant material.

Mosaic Cryo Hops Overview

  • Flavors: Citrus, pine, earth, blueberry, tangerine, papaya, rose, blossoms, grass, bubble gum
  • Primary Usage: Dual-purpose (bittering and aroma)
  • Best Beer Styles: IPA, Hazy IPA, Pale Ale, Saison, Wheat Beer
  • Similar Varieties: Simcoe, Citra, El Dorado, Galaxy

Background

Mosaic was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012 as a daughter of Simcoe® crossed with a Nugget-derived male. Its complex aroma profile—spanning citrus, tropical fruit, berries, florals, and earthy tones—made it an instant hit in hop-forward beers. The Cryo Hops® version, created using Yakima Chief’s LupuLN2® process, intensifies Mosaic’s rich lupulin content while minimizing green matter, resulting in a cleaner, more potent hop character that excels in whirlpool and dry hop additions.
